I can’t think of a recent film character that I have wanted to vicariously live through more than Jenny in An Education. Imagine standing in the pouring rain as Peter Sarsgaard drives up and offers you a ride, then proceeds to take you out on numerous fancy dates, buy you expensive gifts and take you on trips to foreign countries. Sigh…
